BMC is looking for an Experienced Business Analyst to join our amazing global IS&T team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our business processes and systems, by collecting requirements from stakeholders and translating them to actionable system solutions. You will be a part of a collaborative global team, while leveraging technology to drive processes and systems efficiency.

  • Maximize returns on IS&T infrastructure investments.
  • Plan and justify investments based on current and future needs.
  • Optimize investments and identify areas impacting BMC’s operations.
  • Manage IS&T Asset Management (AM) lifecycle with an ITIL processbased focus.
  • Ensure consistent execution of processes across IS&T.
  • Monitor service efficiency, define and maintain processes, and recommend improvements.
  • Develop practices within the ITIL v4 or v3 framework.
  • Measure and report asset utilization across major IT infrastructure components.
  • Collaborate with IT Service Managers to understand and adapt to business needs.
  • Provide strategic and operational direction for Asset Management (AM).
  • Align Asset Management strategies with IT Service Management Office.
  • Serve on the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
  • Track, document, and resolve incidents affecting AM and CMS tools.
  • Manage change requests for the Asset Management System, ensuring accurate updates.
  • Create, review, and report AM process metrics and trends.
  • Improve accuracy and completeness of AM processes and documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of assets and attributes.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities through asset usage reviews.
  • Ensure software license compliance and identify renegotiation opportunities.
  • Develop and implement knowledge management strategies.
  • Manage organizational knowledge assets.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among employees.
  • Monitor and improve knowledge management initiatives.
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
  • 6+ years managing IT infrastructure assets.
  • Experience in enterpriselevel asset management and capital budget planning.
  • Knowledge management and information management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Experience in IT organizations and the hightech industry (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Adobe and Smartsheet software licensing.
  • Understanding of IT functions in a Fortune 500 company.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, operations, and application development groups.
  • Familiarity with ITIL v4 through training, certification, or practical experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working across organizational hierarchies.
