You will be a part ofthe Total Respiratory Care Project Management Office within Research and Development of Sleep and Respiratory Care developing medical devices (Ventilators) for the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory illnesses.

You will be playingadual roleof Change Control Board (CCB) Chairman and Program Management via Management Information System (MIS) / Project Support Group (PSG) at Respiratory Care portfolio. The incumbent will ensure that CCB mechanisms are set-up and functional, communicate progress, manage request intake, disposition, and monitor design change execution.


CCB Chair /Coordinator:

  • Lead & standardize all change management activities via Change Control Board (CCB) ensuring process follow as per Quality Management System (QMS) modernization business initiatives and ease of use
  • Manage & coordinate CCB including Design Change Request (DCR) agenda, cross functional team approvals, Minutes of meeting decisions in SAP, documenting and archiving database, SharePoint portal maintenance
  • Improving the CCB process as a part of continuous improvement process
  • Create agenda for meeting – list of Request for Solution (RfS)/DCR requests to review
  • Assure requestors are invited to present their requests
  • Assure CCB key members are in attendance
  • Facilitate CCB meeting and take minutes
  • Record CCB outcomes for the meeting
    • In DCR system (during meeting)
    • In an Engineering Record (ER) document (after meeting)
  • Release CCB meeting minutes immediately after meeting and make sure authorizations are completed in a timely manner
  • Assist with tracking DCR portfolio
    • Keeping the list current:
      • Help with making sure ECR closures result in DCR closure
      • Help with tracking completion dates – highlighting DCR’s that are coming due or past due
  • Process “Fast-Track” requests through e-mail communications and release of ER recording approval
  • Field questions for guidance regarding submissions of DCR’s, appropriate meeting for requests
  • Audit support for DCR/RfS
  • Ensuring business continuity and revenues
  • Manage the internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Manage the multi-disciplinary cross functional team (R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Service, Marketing, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory,) to realize CCB results
  • Prepare, plan, track and coordinate cross functional teams located across geographies and manage CCB deliverables.
  • Coaching and supporting junior team members
  • Works with Quality and Regulatory to ensure the program is fully compliant with the Quality System, FDA design controls, and global regulatory agency requirements
  • Project management excellence is critical for CCB successful execution in global set-up

Program Management via Management Information System / Project Support Group

  • Delivers administrative and communication support, such as keeping overview of plans, budget, quality standards, resource allocation, deliverables, benefits realization, and dependencies amongst projects/programs/portfolio.
  • Product support group performing the strategic, tactical, and operational support activities within projects, programs & portfolios, to deliver cross‐functional and/or cross‐business transformational goals and objectives
  • Extensive use of MIS for various project and program level KPI dashboard reporting to category engineering leadership management indicating the health of the programs, create forecast reports with leading and lagging indicators
  • Publish frequently project performance to project stakeholders and management with details – Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Resources, Risks, Issues
  • Monitors the competing constraints of scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources and risks.
  • Ensures application and compliance to Philips Project Management Office (PMO) standards, policies, procedures, templates and best practices
  • Drive Functional Competencies as Change Management, Data Management, Analytics, Lean Management and Agile
  • Accountable for overall driving and publishing project dashboards, standardization across Respiratory Care (RC) portfolio
  • Provides PMO managers with regular performance status, variances to plan and identification of areas for corrective actions
  • Supports the integrated change control process and analyzes change impact to PMO competing constraints
  • Performs consolidated risk reporting to PMO managers and escalates risks that require PMO management attention
  • Facilitates knowledge sharing and consolidation by maintaining for example PMO SharePoint, best practice sharing meetings and capturing lessons learned

You're the right fit if you have:

  • Master/ bachelor’s in engineering with 15+ years of experience in a technical field (mechanical, electrical, software, industrial engineering or equivalent).
  • 5‐10 years of relevant working experience, including PMO support work at project, program and portfolio level, leading workstreams and/or project
  • SharePoint/PowerBI/MS Excel/SAP/Windchill/Clarity/Qlikview/MS project online experience is mandatory
  • Earlier CCB coordinator or CCB secretary role experience is preferred
  • Experience in financials and resources management
  • Data Based Discussions/ Decisions making is must
  • Professional Competencies consisting of 10 Entrepreneurial skills (Emotional Intelligence, Ownership & Commitment, Empowering Leadership, Stakeholder Partnership, Network Performance, Business Acumen, Customer Centricity, Judgment, Risk Management and Learning Agility)
  • Experience in design cycle of high-tech electronic components, assemblies, and/or electro-mechanical systems.
  • Several years of hands-on experience in leading medical devices / products development / maintenance.
  • A minimum of 10 years project or program management experience leading cross-functional teams within a regulated MedTech industry.
  • Demonstrated successful results in leading technical teams within a matrix organization
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)/PgMP certification mandatory
  • Excellent communication skills & team player
  • Fast learner and interested in learning new technologies/business/systems.
  • Mindset to simplify and reach to solutions with speed
  • Experience in Ventilator product development is preferred
  • Use of AI and Predictive project management will be preferred for NextGen MIS reporting
