Job Summary:

The HR Generalist and Tax Specialist will play a dual role within the organization, focusing on managing HR projects and providing operational support while also handling tax-related responsibilities. This unique position requires a well-rounded professional with expertise in human resources and a solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:Tax Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including payroll taxes, income taxes, and other relevant tax obligations.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll and tax records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on tax-related matters, including withholding adjustments and tax forms.
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis related to tax matters.

HR Generalist Responsibilities:

  • Manage the communication channel of HR to effectively update the HR policy and related guidelines by working with HR team.
  • Manage the BHR Operation program include site recognition program, HR dashboard and indicators, HR newsletter, EOY, etc.
  • Work closely with the HR Operation team to ensure all BHR requirements are addressed and executed well.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR generalist roles and tax compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and tax regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or tax (e.g., CPA, EA) is a plus.
