Your Role and Responsibilities

As the Product Manager, your primary role will be to own the strategy and execution of IBM Z AIOps portfolio of products. This entails managing the entire product lifecycle and ensuring financial success. You’ll be at the forefront of leading products with open-source technologies like Ansible, Zowe and integration with other open-source technologies. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving this, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and various business units to achieve our objectives.

  • Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Proficiency in product management principles, including market analysis, product roadmap development, feature prioritization, and stakeholder management, is essential for effectively managing the testing portfolio.
  • Understanding of AI methodologies, software development lifecycle, quality assurance processes, and relevant technologies
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, drive collaboration, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate the value proposition of AIOps solutions, communicate product requirements, and effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to understand customer needs, gather feedback, and incorporate customer insights into the development and enhancement of AIOps solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient project management skills to effectively plan, organize, and execute initiatives, manage resources, timelines, and budgets to achieve project goals.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Required Technical and Professional Expertise with relevant experience of 10-20 years:
  • 10+ years professional experience in product management principles, including market analysis, product roadmap development, feature prioritization, and stakeholder management, is essential for effectively managing the testing portfolio
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent certification
  • In-depth knowledge and experience within a relevant design discipline (User Research, User-Experience Design, Visual Design, Interaction Design)
  • Understanding of AI methodologies, software development lifecycle, quality assurance processes, and relevant technologies
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, drive collaboration, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate the value proposition of AIOps solutions, communicate product requirements, and effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to understand customer needs, gather feedback, and incorporate customer insights into the development and enhancement of AIOps solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Candidates having Systems exposure and especially with IBM Z/Mainframe Systems are preferred
