Your Impact
This role is for a QA lead. This person will be the technical leader of a team that is responsible for ensuring maximal code coverage with unit tests and the smooth delivery of the software into a production environment.
- Day-to-day will be creating automated tests in CI
- Mentor/lead QA team of 2 eventually.
- Will participate in stand-up meetings.
- Will work on Jira tracking backlogs.
- Coordinating strategy with other Hypershield Devops leads.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in computer science or a related field of study with a minimum of 5 + years’ experience within Quality Assurance
- Testing experience with containerization tools like Kubernetes or OpenShift and cloud-based platforms such as AWS
- Experience deploying and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Linux command-line experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using ML to accelerate Devops functionality.
- 8+ years in a lead QA role, experience owning end to end testing lifecycles.
- Ability to define and execute manual tests, while paving the way for automation.
- Ability to distill complex technical information to the leadership team.
- Ability to guide and mentor junior Devops engineers.
