Responsibilities include:
Run projects independently from inception, defining, leading, monitoring, and reporting project progress, cost, and schedule.
Build cost plans and/or project estimates for scenario analysis and funding approval.
Monitor and report project cost including cost commitments and cashflow.
Lead source to pay process, including competitive bidding, leveling, award, contracting, PO issuance and supplier payment – collaborating with KLA procurement and finance.
Provide periodic reports for senior management and leadership level stakeholders. Maintain effective communication with internal customers, GWS wide team and management.
Provide reporting data for performance metrics tracking and benchmarking.
Manage cross-functional partners and collaboration for projects and improvement initiatives.
Establish relationships with jurisdictions to understand local entitlement and permit processes and assist in expedition of planning and construction activities.
Lead the development of architectural and engineering drawings and reviews at key phases for consistency to standards, brief and best practices and alignment with cost and schedule. Look for project savings and cost avoidance opportunities.
Complete site visits, as required, to monitor project progress and customer satisfaction.
Partner closely with GWS Environmental Health & Safety team to maintain KLA service and safety standards.
Develop methods to optimize HVAC, process piping, and electrical infrastructure, value engineering, and as-built distribution. Work closely with the GWS Operations team to integrate old and new systems.
Learn how KLA products integrate with the facility infrastructure in terms of installation specifications and utility consumptions. And then work with business partners and customers, engineers, designers, consultants, and contractors to define, plan, procure, implement, monitor, and close projects accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s level degree with a minimum 12 years of experience in capital construction program and project management.
Deep knowledge and passion about construction and MEP systems and related data/technology tools and systems.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and confirmed ability to effectively represent businesses and drive decisions with senior executives.
A consistent record to influence and collaborate across groups, and at all levels of an organization.
Ability to plan at both a strategic and tactical execution level.
Strong project team management skills, including the ability to allocate resources effectively, define clear deliverables and provide direction
Ability to travel within the US (10% travel time or less anticipated)
Ability to work onsite 5 days per week
Adaptable to work on projects of different size and pace, including work in a live dynamic campus environment
Customer focus by responding promptly and appropriately to customer requests and understanding business needs
Strong individual accountability and execution.
Knowledge of conceptual estimating and construction projects, from design development to construction documents, submittals, and permit restrictions. Ability to read construction drawings and understand MEP systems.
