RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be part of highly functioning technical teams assigned to development programs ranging from small to large with a wide range of complexity
  • Develop Code/software requirements developments, software architecture, and software integration/testing
  • Troubleshoot current software interfaces and performance problems
  • Assist in coordinating engineering review activities associated with code review, PDR and CDR milestones
  • Assist in software integration and verification activities
  • Able to work with a diverse/global group of team members who could be geographically distributed
  • Clearly present the software development status with accurate facts & figures
  • Interface with management, stakeholders outside of their CoE, Customer Engineering Leads (CEL) as well as Project Engineering for their program/product and other PEs/LSEs within CoE associated with their program/product
  • Travel: up to 25% (US/International)
  • Hybrid work schedule
  • Reports to: Sr Engineering Manager
  • Relocation support may be provided


MUST HAVE

  • 1+ years of combined software product engineering development experience as a technical solution developer
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Systems Engineering
  • 2 years of avionics platform software engineering experience
  • Experience working with C/C++
  • Experience working with customers on Software requirements
  • Background in Systems design and development
  • Familiarity with Requirements Management Tools
  • Private Pilot License and Flight experience
  • Experience with functional decomposition
  • ARP4754 process knowledge
  • Knowledge about EPIC platform and applications
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt certification
  • Excellent communication skills
