Lambda Experience Runtimes is one of the most customer visible and developer commented upon areas of Lambda. The Language Runtimes team are responsible for the curation, patching and deprecation of all the six Managed Runtimes that Lambda supports such as Python, NodeJS, Java, Ruby, Go, DotNet in addition to the custom runtime plus the associated lambda container images.A roll-up-your-sleeves type. Nobody likes to get paged in the middle of the night or on the weekend, so we work to ensure that our systems are well engineered, fault tolerant and meet a high quality bar before the go into production. Our customers expect nothing less. When we do get paged we work together as a team to resolve the root cause of the issue and nobody is left on their own to deal with an operational issue.Utility Computing (UC)Diverse Experiences

- Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
