Your responsibilities will include:
- Quickly learn GBS business process areas including order to cash, payroll, source to pay, robotic process automation, account to report, fixed assets and related IT Systems to evaluate the risk and control environment of the processes within
- Help to execute on risk and control related topics to improve the GBS environment
- Publish communication on risk and control-related topics including adherence to deadlines, scorecards, policy updates, process changes, audit status, and other risk and control related activities
- Partner with the BSC business continuity team to improve the GBS Continuity Program
- Develop and execute appropriate corrective and improvement strategies where necessary
- Partner with Global BSC resources as a liaison to the GBS Control Environment
- Prepare and deliver training materials
- Help to assess adequacy of internal control environment including efficiency/effectiveness of business processes, IT control operation, compliance with company policies and procedures, adherence to external rules and regulations, and other areas on an as needed basis
- Assess adequacy of controls within various technology enablers including new platforms as needed
- Ability to improve the quality, risk and controls environment every year
Your Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, accounting or related field
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Practical experience of Microsoft suites (O365, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and ability to learn other systems as needed
- Creative, innovative and great business partnering skills
- Works with integrity, accuracy, and can establish credibility
- Exceptional research, planning, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent presentation, collaboration,
- Detail orientated and results focused
