• Develop, improve, verify and sustain Enterprise/cloud based management software for sophisticated internetworking products as a key member of a multi-functional team.
• Perform design trade-off analysis, write software specifications, code, integrate and test new software and hardware, complete product release, and provide field support.
• Collaborate with Business Development, External Partners, Hardware Engineering, QA Test and Release Operations throughout the development cycle.
• Work with Customers on successful deployments
• Mentor junior members of the team through design/code reviews
• Engage with architecture team to clearly understand the system design and roadmap
• Write system functional specifications
• Use agile methodologies
• Estimate design and development activities
• Communicate status against planned breakthroughs

The successful applicant must have a proven record of crafting and developing high quality software products and should possess the following particular skills and experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science (or similar/relevant field) or equivalent experience
• 6-8 years of proven experience with Full stack development.
• 5-6 years of Java and Web services expertise.
• 4-5 years of experience working with Angular, React & Javascript.
• 5-6 years of in-depth, proven experience with NMS or EMS systems.
• 2-3 years of experience working with messaging services like Kafka/NATS, programming & scripting in Shell, YAML and JSON.
• In-depth knowledge about object-oriented programming concepts, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience working on micro service based architecture deployed on a Kubernetes environment.
• Good understanding of database technologies.
• Good understanding of UML/modelling technologies.
• Experience developing reusable components.

• Exposure to JSON, DWR, XSD, XPath, XQuery.
• Knowledge in CI/CD platforms - Jenkins, GitHub.
• Working knowledge of SNMP, syslog, IOS CLI etc.
• Working knowledge of standards such as MTOSI, OSS.
• Experience in UI such as Angular JS / React JS.
• Exposure to client-side technologies like JSP, AJAX, Struts, Swing, JSF, Dojo, portlet.
• Exposure to test tools such as, JUnit, JTest, SOATest, SOAPUI etc.
• Knowledge of SNMP, TCP/IP, Ethernet, Routing Protocols, MPLS, Metro/Carrier Ethernet experience considered a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills to balance requirements, manage expectations, and drive effective results.
• Proactive attitude in identifying and resolving issues and risks.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science (or similar/relevant field) or equivalent experience.
