Interprets detailed schematics from R&D engineering staff to fabricate functional boards in digital, analog, and RF domains, and provides design feedback to the engineering staff.
Utilizes design tools such as SolidWorks and PCB design software (OrCAD, Altium) to develop mechanical fixtures and electronics for engineering evaluation, V&V testing, and production testing.
Supports prototype device builds for characterization studies and V&V testing.
Explores and proposes creative solutions based on solid rationales and contributes to design and process concepts.
Organizes, coordinates, and executes building and testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions.
Assists project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.
Uses internal resources and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to identify and obtain supplies and services.
Acts as a resource to other employees.
Communicates project status to project teams.
Requirements:
High school diploma (mandatory).
Technical degree in Electromechanics, Electricity, Mechanics, Precision Mechanics, or 50% progress in university studies in related fields.
At least 7 years of experience in similar positions.
English level: Intermediate (60%)
Availability to work in Administrative Shift (Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Fridays from 7:00 AM to 2:45 PM)
Desirable Technical Knowledge:
Experience with operating Automated Test Systems for testing and characterization.
Data and statistical analysis
Experience with soldering and assembling PCBAs as well as cables
Troubleshooting electronic equipment and devices to identify and resolve issues
Knowledge of basic measurement equipment such as oscilloscope, DMM, logic analyzers, etc.
