TheEquity Application Support Technical Lead
Main scope is assisting in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and addressing issues utilizing standard observability tools.Analyzing complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure.Responsibilities:
- Partners with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; identifies and defines necessary system enhancements; analyzing existing system logic, recommends and implements solutions.
- Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of apps support.
- Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for complex, high impact application enhancements and problem resolution through in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex business processes, systems and industry standards; documents requirements.
- Partners with multiple technology areas and management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals.
- Works closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to determine and document Systems impacts and support requirements
- Identifies risks, vulnerabilities and security issues; communicates impact; proposes risk mitigation options.
- Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
- Main point of contact for local exchange and 3rd party vendors
- Ownership of both UAT and Production environments
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years relevant experience
- Strong communication skills to translate technical language into meaningful business impact statements
- Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages (Unix Shell, Python, SQL ) plus an interest in learning other coding languages and skills
- Demonstrates knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
- Exposure to processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
- Service oriented attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working or leading requirement gathering efforts for multiple large development projects at one-time
- Fluency in English
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
