Working with colleagues in a globally distributed User Assistance group - in the US, Germany, China, and India - you will create, test, and update user assistance content for SAP SuccessFactors. You will work closely with our customers, actively seeking out feedback to constantly improve what we produce and how we produce it. As part of the SAP SuccessFactors User Assistance team, you will also participate in defining innovative documentation concepts and deliverables.
What You'll Do
Plan delivery of and create user assistance assets that enable consumers to deploy, administer, and use SAP software. User assistance deliverables can include terminology, UI texts, configuration guides, videos, context-sensitive help, tutorials, and social media content.
Provide estimates, key deliverables, and milestones within a given release.
Has a deep understanding of the software and target audience, and uses appropriate language, style, and tone.
Research user requirements and ensure that the content is aligned with the relevant documentation standards, guidelines, and content architecture.
Work in close cooperation with other SAP teams (for example, product management, customer enablement, support, and UX) to produce high-quality deliverables.
Actively strive to engage with consumers to gather requirements and feedback.
Assure the linguistic correctness, technical accuracy, and usability of the content. Quality measures that can be taken include using the product to test content before publishing, submitting content for review by subject matter experts, and having content submitted for language, copy, or developmental editing, where applicable.
Contribute to user assistance projects and initiatives for continuous improvements and innovation to User Assistance tools, processes, and content as applicable. Projects can be within a specific unit or across units.
What You Bring
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree
Experience creating e-learning solutions is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage priorities, and a proactive approach to resolving problems and delivering results
Creative mindset with focus on the bigger picture
Experience with DITA or other topic-based authoring methodology is a plus
Experience writing task-oriented content
History of working in cross-cultural, global teams
Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders within SAP
Preferred Skills:
Functional knowledge of human resources business processes
Experience documenting HCM software
Experience in an agile development environment
Experience in documenting Cloud applications is a plus
