• 7+ years working within engineering teams building successful production software systems • 4+ years directly managing technical team members • 3+ years architecting and designing (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems • Experience partnering with product OR program management teams • Strong experience with agile software development lifecycle, including continuous deployment automation, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, testing, and operations following CI/CD best practices • Translation of complex functional and technical requirements into detailed project plans and schedules; manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team by defining, implementing and maintaining a coherent, progressive development strategy for our product line. • Advanced proficiency in one or more high-level programming language: Java, ASP.NET, C/C++, C#, Python, or Perl • Experience with system analysis and troubleshooting in large-scale Windows or Linux environment • Strong networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTP, TCP/IP protocols, and hands-on experience with network infrastructure components such as load balancers, switches, and routers • Proven track record of driving cross-team initiatives with strong problem-solving abilities and dedication to delivering high-quality, customer-focused solutions • Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication with peers and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong object-oriented design and implementation skills, with expertise in Windows/Microsoft technologies and Unix/Linux platforms • Strong understanding of modern database technology, including AWS database products such as RDS • Advanced understanding of DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTP, TCP/IP and other common network protocols • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field. • Solid knowledge of CS fundamentals - object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, problem solving and complexity analysis. • Proven track record delivering large, cross-functional projects across multiple teams and locations • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what's necessary to drive your projects to completion • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work with multiple technical teams across Amazon in different locations. • Creative, flexible and self-motivated.
