Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge and hands on experience in implementing Safety guarding system (SGS) and FGS/ FAS system as SGS engineer.
• Working experience for DCS or industrial PLC would be a plus
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot the Safety Systems on both hardware and Software
• Implement and Administer on Honeywell Safety Manager (SM), SMSC and FSC system.
• Competency working at life plants & site experience with online system download.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of system hardware/software/networks
• Assist clients with third party vendor communication to our systems
• Administer preventive maintenance on the safety systems
• Provide technical support to customers and serve as customer contact for service related issues
• Be able to respond to emergency calls as part of a 24/7 roster service and resolve them within the guidelines that meet or exceed our contract customer expectations and requirements
• Program code logic/ FLD including system configuration / implementation and troubleshoot existing code. Support Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing and startup activities including equipment checkout.
• Perform audits and baselines of installed systems to help with migrations and trouble shooting
• Team Player, competent with being the lead support person on site.
• The ability to accurately document work performed.
• Knowledge of other systems such as DCS, Scada, PLCs, CCTV, Networking or others a bonus.
• Leading to support projects from preliminary engineering, detail design, startup. Have capability to lead others to accomplish all project goals and objectives.
• Knowledge and experience with process instrumentation would be beneficial
• Must be able to take ownership and responsibility for work and actions

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in with Engineering, preferably in Electric/Electronic/Instrumentation / Automation Control
• Minimum of 7 years’ field experience
• Preferable with working experience in Honeywell Safety systems or others SGS/ FGS/ FAS.
• Be comfortable leading system migrations between releases.
• Work independently on life system
• Poses with valid TUV certification.
• Demonstrated effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
