What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Work closely with discipline specialists and engineers inthe development and implementation of acceptance criteria that will govern thehandover from Project to Operations teams. Work closely with Vendors, Engineers, and Technicians inthe execution of efficient, tag specific commissioning plans
- Lead the execution of commissioning activities acrossorganizational boundaries, inclusive of vendor support, on-site resourcebalancing, tooling requirements, and utility needs
- Provide regular stewardship of commissioning executionprogress and challenges to multiple levels of the organization. Collaborating closely with the maintenance planning teamto translate maintenance plans into actionable tasks for the execution team
- Leading a team of skilled technicians and tradespeople inthe successful completion of maintenance activities, both planned and reactive
- Ensure that maintenance tasks are executed according toestablished safety protocols, industry best practices, and Tesla's standards. Monitor the progress of maintenance activities daily,adjusting schedules as needed to meet operational requirements
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements, costsavings, and efficiency gains within maintenance execution processes
- Leverage commissioning experience to assist in thedevelopment and implementation of preventative maintenance procedures, workpractices, & equipment strategies to enable efficient life-cycle managementof plant assets post-startup
- Evidence ofexceptional ability, including a strong understanding of equipment maintenancefundamentals and demonstrated ability to leverage this understanding to solvechallenging technical problems
- 5+ years ofexecution leadership in an industrial manufacturing environment, withexperience supporting maintenance organizations in the development andexecution of detailed job plans
- Experience withsolids handling, rotary calcination and hydro-metallurgical equipment is a plus
- Proven abilityto operate under pressure while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, occasionally requiringextended hours and alternative shifts
- Ability tocommunicate clearly and interface with multiple engineering disciplines, vendors,craft experts, as well as executives
- Must havecommand of the English language, both written and verbal
