The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Supply Chain Analyst - Production Planning, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Creating production and procurement schedules for area of responsibility while developing and maintaining operating rhythms to ensure smooth supply chain operations, aligning supply with demand
• Managing manufacturing purchasing requirements including resolution on delivery timing and quantity
• Providing a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making and improving business results by providing analysis and data interpretation while optimizing product sequence to reduce changeovers and increase productivity
• Creating inventory improvements in turns and non-working inventory, analyzing material flow parameters, safety stock order quantity, lot size, make cycle frequency and replenishment interval
• Assisting with capacity planning activities

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Three (3) combined years of supply chain and/or planning experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Supply Chain degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Experience with SAP
• APICS CPIM certification or willingness to pursue
• Advanced data analysis and Microsoft Excel skills
• Six Sigma greenbelt experience or certification
• Lean Manufacturing experience
