Our Purpose:

As a Software Engineer Intern at Boston Scientific, you will…

  • Help develop applications using Web development technologies.

  • Perform programming tasks, such as back-end Web-based applications, and Web/Internet services.

  • Challenging development and test assignments will be offered versus simple tasks – you will be integrated into a development team.

  • Gain a fundamental understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a rising junior or rising senior (grad dates between Dec 2025 - June 2027), graduating senior (May/June 2025 grad) continuing on to grad school, or current grad student. Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship to qualify.

  • Pursuing a Computer Science or Software Engineering degree or have an emphasis/minor in one of them.

  • Experience with Object-Oriented Design and Analysis (OOD and OOA) in a school or professional environment.

  • Experience with C# or Java in a school or professional environment.

  • Must have authorization to work in the United States without restriction.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge in some of the following categories:

  • Writing SQL queries

  • JSON, YAML, XML

  • Understanding of version control – Git

  • Designing and implementing Web Services

  • Visual Studio, Eclipse or similar IDEs

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Maximum Salary: $ 71552

Compensation fornon-exempt (hourly), non-sales rolesmay also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
