Your responsibilities include:1. Guiding architectural designs, and mentoring junior engineers to develop logical & maintainable software that meets high standards of quality and abstraction
2. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (developers, network experts, scientists, leaders) to translate the business requirements into technical specifications.
3. Design, test, and develop scalable software systems that leverage Generative AI techniques to enhance network performance and reliability.
4. Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to stay ahead of the curve in the field of Generative AI.
5. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a culture of excellence in software engineering practices.
6. Proactively identify and address technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolution to ensure smooth operation of Generative AI software solutions.
7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to convey project status, solicit feedback, and align on strategic objectives.
8. Own the operational excellence of the software you put into production.
9. Contribute to improving our documentation, processes, and tools so that we improve our performance as a team.Dublin, D, IRL
- Experience in professional, non-internship software development
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
