Please review the following job description:
Develop and originate loans in a fast paced and high touch environment from Marine and Recreational Vehicle (RV) dealers and brokers nationwide. Ensure the performance of the portfolios meets or exceeds expectations for quality, profitability and growth.
This position is fully remote and requires working the hours of 11 am - 8 pm PST including some Saturdays

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Underwrite direct and indirect loan requests, while demonstrating a clear understanding of major technical aspects of lending and basic knowledge of Marine and RV credit and finance. Assist Marine and RV Underwriter I teammates with more complex deals and training as needed.
2. Obtain necessary financial and credit information to develop applicable understanding of personal financial condition, cash flow and business operations.
3. Develop a clear and concise assessment of risk in order to underwrite Marine and RV transactions that are complex in nature and pose proportionally higher credit risks. Clearly document justification for decisions.
4. Manage the retail portfolio of dealer and broker clients nationwide, ensuring the portfolio meets the key performance measures for quality, profitability and growth; work to ensure individual performance measures are met or exceeded.
5. Develop and assist with implementation of marketing strategies to effectively promote Recreational Lending products to assigned dealer base.
6. Prepare loan applications for review and concurrence when above individual lending authority.
7. Ability to review and evaluate Marine and RV collateral using personal knowledge and professional databases/industry websites. This includes developing familiarity with relevant manufacturers, knowledge of frontend/backend products and services, and pertinent titling.
8. Notify Marine and RV management of competitive changes in the Marine and RV industries.
9. Provide high touch service to internal and external clients. This includes both written and verbal communications and the documentation of sales calls within Salesforce tool on a weekly basis.
10. Identify Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) opportunities to cross-sell additional bank products to dealers and retail clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field, or equivalent education and related training, or experience
2. Five years of experience in indirect/direct credit underwriting and/or management or equivalent experience in the Marine and RV industry.
3. Moderate understanding of analysis and review of business and personal financial statements
4. Highly proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Good verbal and written communication skills
6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
7. Ability to work overtime and flexible hours as needed. This includes evenings and weekends.Preferred Qualifications:1. Marine and/or RV direct/indirect lending experience
2. Knowledge of Marine and/or RV industry
3. Proficiency in review of Marine Surveys
4. Good knowledge of bank operations, systems, compliance and regulatory issues
5. Completion or enrollment in an established management or career development program
