Your primary responsibilities are designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining distributed software solutions independently. These solutions range across technical stacks and domain, from web applications and backend services, to cloud architecture and machine learning. You will work directly with technical and business teams, locally and worldwide, to understand business problems and design solutions. You will lead other developers (3-5) in large, complex initiatives from design through delivery.A day in the life
Lead daily standup either in person or remotely to give status updates
Spend uninterrupted time developing software

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complex analysis
- Experience writing tests: unit, integration, end-to-end, and canaries - as well as writing testable business code
- Business level of English (Written and Verbal)

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Expertise in TypeScript, Python, Java, and/or C++
- Past experience using Amazon Web Services (CloudFormation, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB)
