In this role, You will be instrumental in driving the BFSI Vertical Growth plans, charting a comprehensive strategy that focuses on motivation, innovation, decision-making, and teamwork. You'll play a pivotal role in leading and aligning the ecosystem (internal and external) behind a common vision and long-term goals while amplifying productivity across the BFSI Value Chain. This role entails full accountability and ownership of the GTM strategy for the strategic accounts, ensuring the highest levels of alignment and focus.

  • You will lead the advancement of our growth strategy by bolstering sales capabilities and orchestrating cross-functional efforts to nurture a robust sales pipeline and capitalize on market opportunities for the BFSI Vertical.
  • You will develop the BFSI vertical expertise of the sales organization to make BMC “BFSI relevant” and build an BFSI industry mindset to align the BMC value proposition with key BFSI market trends.
  • You will craft and execute a go-to-market strategy, focusing on revenue growth and customer satisfaction for BFSI customers, positioning BMC Software as a leader in the Banking and Insurance industry. Your leadership will be instrumental in strengthening sales capabilities and fostering pipeline growth across regions in the specific vertical.
  • You will take full accountability and ownership of the sales GTM strategy for Strategic accounts, ensuring strategic alignment and focus on BMC's most strategic accounts, driving growth, and deepening relationships with key customers and partners.
  • You will embrace a business owner mindset, collaboratively formulating and executing growth strategies with product, sales, and cross-functional partners, establishing BMC Software's dominance in the BFSI market.

  • You will participate actively in customer and partner-facing events, ensuring strong engagement and relationship-building through executive briefings and industry events.
  • You will champion the execution of strategic goals, focusing on motivation, innovation, decision-making, and teamwork to achieve ambitious targets for ARR growth as outlined in the Strategic Accounts Business Plan & Playbook.
  • You will pioneer initiatives aimed at enhancing sales capability by prioritizing product lines and devising competitive strategies aligned with overarching objectives, driving sustainable growth.
  • You will foster a culture of leadership, accountability, and collaboration by creating a cohesive environment within the BFSI and broader BMC team, conducive to achieving strategic goals in a matrixed environment.

  • You have extensive experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector, showcasing deep understanding of running facets of this business across the BFSI value chain including business development and operational leadership.
  • Your proven ability to lead programs from inception to successful implementation within the BFSI sector reflects strong alignment with BMC values and a commitment to value based engagement.
  • With comprehensive GTM expertise, including deep product and market domain knowledge, you consistently drive impactful results utilizing modern digital programs and techniques to influence Brand, pipeline and customer satisfaction.
  • Your exceptional collaboration skills enable effective teamwork and leadership, streamlining the sales process within the BFSI sector while expanding market shares and cultivating internal sales resources.
  • Your adept communication and presentation abilities ensure a clear articulation of BMC's value proposition at executive levels, driving continuous improvement and achievement of strategic objectives in software sales to BFSI customers.
