Remote Platform Engineer (m/f/d)


As a remote platform engineer you monitor, maintain, secure and operate the global platforms and their services/applications.

Your role:

  • You will be part of a newly built and growing team part of our Hospital Patient Monitoring Organization
  • You will be troubleshooting escalated incidents, resolving customer support cases and analysing and resolving work orders. The role involves improving triaging and troubleshooting capabilities, providing dashboards for support KPIs, and establishing proactive monitoring capabilities for both on-prem and cloud-based solutions.
  • You will be involved planning and executing updates to the platform, driving data-driven decisions, and exploring customer needs for a better customer experience.
  • You will be responsible for customer satisfaction and compliance requirements, and the use of LEAN techniques for operational efficiency improvements.
  • You will be involved in implementing triaging and routing processes, proactive monitoring, and developing dashboards for monitoring solutions.
  • Communication and building working relationships with different teams and support levels is crucial

You're the right fit if:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (or comparable degree).
  • You have 3+ years’ of relevant work experience.
  • You have experience in Helpdesk or Service Centers environments
  • You have experience working and operating in complex multi-national and remote environments with highly distributed teams.
  • You are fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Familiar with DevOps ways of working in collaboration with 3rd level support and DevOps teams.
  • You have experience in the healthcare domain (desirable).
  • You have a working knowledge of and experience with Linux, Kubernetes, GitHub, Observability tools like Grafana, public clouds, Distributed Systems, and Microservices (desirable).
  • You have experience in swarming-based incident resolution models (desirable).
  • You have experience in Customer Service Management including management of digital channels and self-service solutions (desirable).
  • You hold a certification in a public cloud provider such as Linux System Administration, ITIL, etc. (desirable).

Please note, if successful you will be required to work on a shift pattern involving nights and weekends.
