Job Summarybased in, reporting to our Sr Corporate Counsel.
What a typical day looks like:
- Help negotiation and drafting of foreign and domestic commercial transactions covering manufacturing services, procurement of materials, intellectual property, warranty, indemnity, inventory, and financing issues.
- Balance governance and being a solutions provider. Leverage influence and change management skills with the business in the areas of resolution-making to improve business outcomes.
- Work across borders, time zones and cultures with a cross functional group ofstakeholders.
- Explain complex topics in clear, easy to comprehend manner with executive-level internal clients.
- Influence the Legal organization through engagement in projects to improve our capabilities and talent.
- Develop and provide legal training to internal clients, assist in Global Account manager enhancement programs, Diversity and Inclusion programs, talent development, etc.
- Manage outside counsel when necessary.
- Navigate geo-political issues.

The Experience we are looking to add to our team:
- Requires a Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree or a Bachelor of Law degree.
- Typically requires 10 years of related experience as a Corporate Counsel.
- Licensure to practice in the United States.
- Experience in providing legal assistance to executive-level clients in an international manufacturing environment preferred.
- Master of Laws (LL.M.) Degree preferred.
- Ability to negotiate legal contracts across business units within a matrixed organization.
