What a typical day looks like:

• Help negotiation and drafting of foreign and domestic commercial transactions covering manufacturing services, procurement of materials, intellectual property, warranty, indemnity, inventory, and financing issues.
• Balance governance and being a solutions provider. Leverage influence and change management skills with the business in the areas of resolution-making to improve business outcomes.
• Work across borders, time zones and cultures with a cross functional group ofstakeholders.
• Explain complex topics in clear, easy to comprehend manner with executive-level internal clients.
• Influence the Legal organization through engagement in projects to improve our capabilities and talent.
• Develop and provide legal training to internal clients, assist in Global Account manager enhancement programs, Diversity and Inclusion programs, talent development, etc.
• Manage outside counsel when necessary.
• Navigate geo-political issues.

The Experience we are looking to add to our team:

• Requires a Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree or a Bachelor of Law degree.
• Typically requires 10 years of related experience as a Corporate Counsel.
• Licensure to practice in the United States.
• Experience in providing legal assistance to executive-level clients in an international manufacturing environment preferred.
• Master of Laws (LL.M.) Degree preferred.
• Ability to negotiate legal contracts across business units within a matrixed organization.
