Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor Degree or international equivalent degree AND 6+ years experience as a practicing attorney
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Active license to practice law in a jurisdiction and capable of meeting admission requirements in relevant jurisdiction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years in-house counsel experience.
  • A desire to grow and take on new challenges as they arise.
  • Desire and ability to work as part of a team and with diverse personalities, groups, and culture.
  • Experience counseling engineering or other technical clients.
  • Sound judgment that incorporates legal analysis, a pragmatic approach, and consideration of business goals, risk tolerance, and external stakeholder priorities
  • Good writing skills.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for action in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Project management skills and the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in the face of competing priorities.

Legal Counsel IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $141,800 - $248,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $179,300 - $268,900 per year.
