Job Description
This exciting role requires an incumbent who is comfortable not only performing data analyses and developing data tools, but also thinking strategically about what the results mean for our business. In addition to executing analyses through deep dives and experimentation and converting results into insights, the AD will work closely with the MIBS team and lead the execution of projects connected to our organization’s “Must wins”.
• Lead Projects in the DA&I space, serving as a business subject matter expert responsible for delivery of DA&I tools.
• Partner with business stakeholders and “translate” business needs into data and analytics needs.
• Partner with data owners and data stewards, developing a deep understanding of the current state of available data sources and data tools.
• Design and develop rigorous data analyses and comprehensive data tools for internal stakeholders.
• Maintain data tools developing training materials, documentations and communications to users.
• Present complex data to non-technical end-users in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong project management - communication, presentation, collaboration, and influencing - skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, motivated by uncovering new opportunities to add value to the organization through DA&I.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and objectively.
• Capable of researching and systematically evaluating new data sources to determine global analytical application.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, and ability to work independently and deal well with ambiguity.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant areas of study (Animal Health related fields and/or MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience developing and managing DA&I projects.
• 5+ years of experience in Animal Health.
• Prior experience in data management, data engineering, analytics, visualization development (Spotfire and/or Power BI preferred) and programing languages (SQL, Python, etc.)
• International experience and knowledge of multiple languages is a plus.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by aagreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Please note, this Hybrid work model guidance also does not apply to roles that have been designated as “remote”.
Expected salary range:
$122,800.00 - $193,300.00
