Monitor product field performance, identify trending issues. Prioritize based on severity, occurrence and/or cost of each failure mode for all platforms and factories but specifically for Berlin products
Engage and connect with service centers and regional support structures in order to identify failures based on geographical region, climate, customer population, etc. to evaluate customer impact regionally.
Apply technical engineering knowledge to drive containment and corrective action implementation into NPI/ production / design / supplier / firmware.
Communicate field performance of the engineering system, gather buy-in from engineering peers and leadership on improvement priorities and urgency.
Share Lessons Learned from previous field issues; Provide upfront feedback by participating in design reviews to ensure product performance, reliability, and manufacturability issues are identified and risks mitigated. (DFMEAs)
Take part in ongoing optimization and regionalization of new and improved products and processes (performance, cost, technology).
