What You'll Do

These networks will facilitate distributed quantum computing and sensing as well as enhancing quantum-safe communication on a large scale.As part of the team, you will work with scientists and engineers to develop quantum networking prototypes, analyze and interpret experimental results and propose solutions for improvement,contribute to research projects, develop working prototypes of systems, and publish papers in conferences and journals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. graduate program in physics, electrical engineering, optics, computer science, or a relevant field
  • Knowledge of fundamentals of quantum information processing.
  • Hands on experience with quantum experiments.
  • Proficient in at least one of the following languages (Python, C++, Java).
  • US citizenship or green card

Preferred Qualifications

  • Research experience in quantum photonics, quantum computing, and quantum networking/communication.
  • A strong researchtrack recorddemonstratedby peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
  • Hands on experience with entanglement source.
  • Hands on experience with integrated photonic chips.
  • Hands on experience with loophole free Bell measurements.
