that will be accountable for delivering customer success by working with Global System Integrators (GSI), and Advisory partners. This role plays a crucial role in building world-class solutions and practices across Microsoft solution areas, with the GSI partners. By providing deep technical guidance, you will help partners evolve their business solution portfolio using Microsoft AI and Cloud technologies. In this role, you will guide the development of business solutions, provide deep technical insights, and accelerate the growth of Microsoft Technical priorities across Azure, CoPilot, Generative AI, Security, Business Applications and modern work. You will work closely with partners to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, and guide them through architectural design sessions, developing proof of concepts, and help them transition from legacy systems to modern cloud environments, ensuring that their solutions are optimized for performance and cost-efficiency. By leveraging your skills in technical leadership, cloud computing, software development, problem solving and systems architecture, you will drive business impact by enabling digital transformation, optimizing performance, and driving innovation through the effective use of cloud technologies.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting in Security
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience working on technical projects with experience designing and deploying solutions in Security or related, along with knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures for integrating on-premises workloads with Azure resources.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting in Security
    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting in Security
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
  • 6+ years experience leading technical projects.
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
  • 4+ years of related experience in technology IP solutions or services development, with understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, and emerging cloud trends like generative AI and SaaS (Software as a Service) services.
  • Experience in background and in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, with a focus on Microsoft's cloud offerings (Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365).
  • Technical preferences in one or more of the following categories:
    • Cloud security:technical aptitude or experience to design, architect, and implement Azure Security solutions such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel that meet business, IT, Regulatory needs – infusing Azure Security technologies where appropriate. Candidates should also have demonstrated skills in cloud infrastructure security architecture and secure implementation of Azure solutions.
    • Threat Protection:technical aptitude or experience to design, architect, and implement Microsoft Security solutions such as Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel to meet business, IT, Regulatory needs. Candidates should also have demonstrated skills in security playbook creation on response.
    • Identity and Access Management: technical aptitude or experience to implement Microsoft Azure Active Directory or competitive products as an Identity provider along with developing a plan for migrating application authentication to Azure Active Directory and implementing key technologies like Conditional Access, Identity Protection and Identity Governance. This should also include the deployment of Microsoft Intune and/or Microsoft Endpoint Protection and policies for securing these services
  • Certification in one or more of the following technologies preferred: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies, Cloud Security, Online Certificate Status Protocol, Global information Assurance Certification, Incident Response.
  • Competitive landscape knowledge of cloud security platforms.
  • Enterprise-scale technical experience and experience to learn new cloud security technologies and understand relevant cloud security market trends.
  • Experience in security and expertise around related technologies and concepts such as Zero Trust, threat management, Security Operations Center monitoring, Extended Detection & Response, Access Control, Cloud Security Architecture, and/or Data Security.

Cloud Solution Architecture IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year.

Cloud Solution Architecture IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $248,800 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Partner Transformation, Strategic Programs and Solution Development: Accelerate partner transformation and growth by leveraging the Microsoft cloud value proposition and increase partner portfolio capabilities with key Microsoft innovations. Aid partners to develop and implement high quality solutions and/or services leveraging Microsoft’s latest technologies
  • Technical Leadership: Develop and maintain depth and breadth of technical and professional skills, along with business acumen and industry knowledge. Exhibit as deep level of knowledge in at least one designated solution area and at least three product areas within that solution area: Infrastructure, Data & AI, Digital and App Innovation (Developer), Security, Modern Work (Microsoft 365 etc.), and Business Applications (Dynamics, Power Platform etc.). Exhibit an intermediate level of knowledge in at least one other solution area and at least one product area within the solution area(s), including AI. Exhibit experience in all other solution areas as evidenced by training, certification, or direct experience. Participate and contribute to relevant internal and external technical communities.
  • Enablement Execution: Lead and/or contribute to the delivery of workshops, bootcamps, and trainings necessary to build partners’ technical skills.
  • Technical Engagement: Lead technical engagements, including Briefings, Proof of Concepts, Architectural Design Sessions, and Hackathons.
  • Best Practice Sharing: Collaborate with Microsoft’s Engineering teams to generate technical insight and enable best practices sharing.
