Snapdragon Ride is an integral pillar of our Snapdragon Digital Chassis, and since its launch it has gained momentum with a growing number of global automakers and Tier1 suppliers. Snapdragon Ride aims to address the complexity of autonomous driving and ADAS by leveraging its high-performance, power-efficient SoC, industry-leading artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and pioneering vision and drive policy stack to deliver a comprehensive, cost and energy efficient systems solution.
We are seeking smart, innovative, and motivated individuals to contribute to the development of our Advanced Driver Assist System Platform, which includes the Perception stack, Drive policy, and middleware. Candidates should have strong programming skills in C/C++. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing ADAS features on the Qualcomm mixed critical Flex platform (Cockpit+ADAS) for a leading Indian car manufacturer, with the opportunity to work on advanced L2+ level ADAS technology
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Develop the business logic for ADAS L2+ to manage vehicle dynamics and motion.
Exhibit exceptional programming skills in C++ 14/17, ensuring that the quality of code meets the high standards required for life-critical ADAS features.
Design and Develop Adaptive AUTOSAR-based middleware component for the automated driving software platform.
Adapt middleware components to support Tier1/OEM applications (e.g., HMI, CAN gateway).
Collaborate with global ADAS technical experts to identify solutions for adapting the stack to Indian conditions.
Active participation in new feature development and work with Tier1 and software platforms.
Work with the software architect on new technical proposals and break down software concepts into implementation stories.
Enhance the current ADAS stack components, including perception and drive policy.
Collaborate with the Vehicle Validation team to effectively resolve issues identified during drive tests.
Work with the software lead to plan and meet feature commitments according to the delivery schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience.
Deep knowledge of (C++ (14/17) and Python.
Software development for UNIX platforms (e.g. Linux, QNX).
SW-Quality Analysis Tooling (e.g. SonarQube, Klocwork, Clang-Tidy, Valgrind, etc.)
ASPICE, ISO26262 standard knowledge.
Adaptive AUTOSAR configuration and application development.
Hands-on experience with software and software platforms integration.
Experience with SW tools such as Git, Jira, Google Test, Bazel, Artifactory, CI.
Nice to have:
Previous SW development experience for ADAS domain.
Service oriented communication (e.g SOME/IP).
Good knowledge and usage experience of Design patterns.
Coding Standards (e.g. MISRA for C++)
