As an Associate/ Vice President in the Prime Financial Services Product Development, you will be expected to partner with our broader team to deliver strategic initiatives in line with our business strategy, exceeding client expectations and promoting internal efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working work with other Prime Brokerage teams, internal business partners and external vendors to manage, support and grow our product offering.
  • Take accountability to execute on the business strategy as part of a large global product team
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of existing product capabilities and design innovative solutions to capture new opportunities
  • Work closely with Technology teams to ensure successful development and implementation of new products / service enhancements
  • Understand the latest cross-business trends to inform and drive growth and apply those to how we better develop our platform capabilities
  • Interact with all levels of management and operations to review, understand, document, and communicate business/program needs, risks, issues and objectives
  • Cultivate internal cross-functional relationships to deliver against business/program requirements
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively work and deliver on a variety of concurrent assignments/tasks of different complexity.
  • Display efficient work style with attention to detail, organization, and strong sense of urgency.
  • Initial focus of the role will be on the Synthetics agenda, specifically managing SBL agenda supporting global clients trading in the APAC markets
  • Drive the platform enhancements allowing Prime business expansion and enhancements supporting Asia-based Prime user; drive client enhancement demands for Asian markets

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Energetic strategic thinker with deep knowledge of PB and awareness of the market, cash and synthetic financing landscape who can define, develop, deliver products to end-user satisfaction
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, global products from inception to implementation.
  • Highly organized; disciplined project management skills (setting deliverables, timelines, budgets, ROI forecasts, etc.).
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple streams of work simultaneously and effectively resolve issues and conflicts to insure timely delivery
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, ability to work independently - knowing what to do, how to get it done and willingness to "roll up your sleeves" to deliver.
  • Presence, leadership, team player - ability to establish and articulate a strategic vision and engage senior business partners across geographies and functional disciplines and partner effectively to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively target messages to different audiences.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Background in quantitative analytics a plus
  • Candidate must be creative and innovative team player with ability to relate well to client counterparts and develop good working relationships with these individuals.
  • Should displays maturity, good judgment and an ability to work with professionals at all levels inside J.P. Morgan.
  • Must have strong analytical, technical problem solving, planning and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities that are team-oriented, fostering and collegial.
  • Has ability to delegate effectively and pay attention to detail while maintaining a high level of productivity will be important.
