Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements in the form of product backlog and defining acceptance criteria.
2. Translate business needs into technical specifications and functional designs.
3. Identifying tech-based solutions to meet business needs.
4. Creating detailed specifications for integration requirements and working in tandem with developers from various project areas to develop the necessary integration solutions.
5. Document functional requirements , data mappings and API mappings .
6. Develop and evaluate business logic, data transformations, computations, and any additional modifications to data .
7. Proficient in creating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios, executing UAT, and obtaining signoffs from business stakeholders.
8. Oversee testing efforts to validate that features and functions meet business requirements.
9. Prioritise requests, changes and ensure a robust change management workflow is built.
10. Facilitate reviews with both internal teams and clients to obtain approvals for project costs, schedules, and various plans.
11. Ability to facilitate workshops, design sessions and gather requirements from LoB, SMEs, Senior leadership.
12. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes.
13. Must be willing to lean and align with the evolving technology trends in the industry.
14. Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships.
15. Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly.
16. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail.

Must have skills:

1. A minimum of 3-6 years of relevant work experience in business analysis
2. Professional work experience in at least one of the following with Investment Banks:Capital Markets, Wealth & Asset Management, Financial Risk Management , Regulatory Reporting.
3. Provide Thought leadership, display subject matter expertise in the pertaining domain.
4. Well-versed and experienced in SDLC, using both waterfall and Agile methodologies (such as Scrum) for delivering projects.
5. Proven expertise in solution architecture and system development lifecycle
6. Hands on experience on enterprise application implementations, including microservices, APIs, UI interfaces, and reporting modules.
7. A comprehensive understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes
8. Strong analytical skills, proficient in SQL at an intermediate to advanced level and capable of handling complex data sets or with API’s
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills
10. Hands on experience with to tools like Jira, Confluence or other project management tools

Desirable Additional Skills:

1. Exposure to Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.), data modelling, Python, R, JSON, XML is beneficial.
2. Knowledge or readiness to learn software like GitHub, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Figma, Power BI, Tableau, ClickView, Visio, Qlik Sense, Postman, and ADO boards.
