Lead new product market mapping, identifying potential gaps and exploiting new opportunities
Develop APAC Strat Plan. Develop market strategies aimed at maximizing market share, promoting prolific new product launches, and building brand awareness
Develop APAC’s capabilities across customer insights, portfolio prioritization, and acceleration of go to market opportunities
Identify customer loyalty as well as healthcare economics, government affairs and reimbursement
Execute ongoing identification of new business/distribution opportunities and markets, tracking of competitors and market shifts, review of the broad strategic direction
Collate and lead market research and competitive data to enable the formation of country strategic marketing plan/go to market strategy
Develop, lead, and manage the execution of customer insights coupled with business needs
Develop appropriate clinical plan – registries, post market studies for divisional studies
Quantify and prioritize reimbursement opportunities. Work with countries to help execute
Spend up to 50% of time in the field to deliver on portfolio accelerator opportunities, uncover customer insights, gathering market & competitor information
Make regular contact/communication with Divisional marketing personnel, Integration Team sales/country management to ensure alignment of plans
Ensure alignment with other functions (Finance, Supply Chain, Health Economics, Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality)
Ensure awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific
Participate in driving quality awareness in every employee, while guiding the local organization towards improved performance and customer-oriented initiatives
Key Qualifications
Minimum undergraduate degree. Candidates with MBAs will be preferred
At least 8 years of relevant experience in a related field
Track record of Marketing with strategic planning & execution with strong KOL and stakeholder management in medical industry is essential. Medical device experience is plus
Prior experience in core products from Electrophysiology and Pulsed Field Ablation, and an understanding of the industry, procedures, solutions is preferred
Familiarity with the China/Japan market
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required to enable effective collaboration with individuals globally
Japanese or Chinese speaking ability is a plus
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 15-25% of the year
Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and multi-task
Possess strong prioritization, project management and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Mature and able to articulate ideas and concepts well in front of senior management
Ability to work across different cultures
Regional experience is plus
Displays drive and ambition to be developed and grow into more senior marketing roles
