Become the “Voice of Pricing” within IA META region and support the sales organization on the importance and impact of pricing on the business.
Closely interact with the cross-functional stakeholders and keep pricing plan achievement in focus.
Participate in Price Pulse meetings to keep the team aligned on pricing performance and ongoing needs.
Build relationships and trust to influence stakeholders into making impactful decisions regarding products and pricing strategies.
AOP Planning:
Develop / align with various stakeholders on a detailed price plan based on projections to achieve focus, alignment, and synchronization among all organization functions.
Engage with Finance, LOB leaders, and regional Teams to gain alignment on the Pricing plan.
Identify Lead and lag indicators to achieve the overall business plan, define RAIL and MOS to track effectiveness.
AOP Price Execution:
Cross-Functional management to ensure labor and material costs are known in a timely manner to drive strategic pricing actions throughout the year. (Pass-Thru)
Active monitoring of discounting trends to identify and drive opportunities for improved discounting behaviors. (Tactical)
Work with Offering Management to ensure HON’s product list prices are aligned to the competitive value they provide in the marketplace. (Value)
Collect, analyze, and report monthly actual & FY forecast price reporting versus AOP and other established goals.
Price Measurement:
Develop and implement Price Measurement methodologies in agreement with Global pricing team, Finance, and other stakeholders.
Track monthly price realization and provide deep dives to the LOBs.
Challenge data and metrics with the change in business practices, support the LOB and regional Leaders with actionable vital metrics.
Build Pricing reports and dashboards to support Price execution and strategy.
Develop a thorough understanding of different systems to leverage them for price analysis and reporting.
Automation/Process Improvement
Identify the functional areas where new tools/dashboards can be deployed, or existing ones improved.
Develop focused training materials that explain the value of the process improvement or new tool to ensure user commitment and launch success.
Monitor and provide measurement of the new process or tool’s user adoption rate and monetary impact on operations and/or price realization improvement.
Support the right usage of Deal Desk to enforce policies related to discount control.
Create and maintain analytics for evaluating deals within the Deal Desk.
Contractual Pricing
Identify the functional areas where new tools/dashboards can be deployed, or existing ones improved.
Develop actionable understanding of current Contractual entitlements to drive price performance.
Support consistent and sustainable pricing terms in contracts to expand price entitlement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
Min of 5 years relevant pricing or comparable quantitative experience.
Desired:
Proven data analysis experience and solid grasp of pricing models & techniques.
Results minded with a focus on execution.
Demonstrated ability to lead large transformational projects working with multiple functions.
Demonstrated change management skills with the ability to influence across and up in the organization.
Master’s degree in Finance, Marketing or MBA.
Highly desire SAP, PROS, and Tableau software experience.
