As a key member of our expanding Financial Services Risk Consulting team, you'll partner with top-tier Financial Services clients to strategically navigate and mitigate their most critical risks. Your expertise will empower them to stay ahead in an ever-evolving landscape, ensuring their continued success and resilience.


As a Manager based in Auckland, you'll be delivering cutting-edge, technology-driven internal audit services, including leading fully outsourced internal audit programmes for some of New Zealand’s leading financial services providers. With a focus on people, process, and purpose, you'll drive long-term value for our clients.

In this role you will:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of client engagements and lead a team of internal audit professionals.
  • Create and execute internal audit plans that meet engagement objectives and adhere to professional standards for co-sourced and outsourced clients.
  • Identify and convert new opportunities in internal audit, risk, and controls management to drive revenue expansion.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to ensure service expectations and deliverables are met.
  • Foster the professional growth of the team through hands-on training and educational programs.

Ō Pūmanawa I What we’re looking for

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in professional services or a blend of industry and professional services, with a focus on leading and delivering internal audits to senior stakeholders within the Financial Services sector.
  • Proven track record in executing comprehensive end-to-end internal audit programs, whether outsourced or co-sourced.
  • Inspirational leadership qualities, with a passion for nurturing talent, fostering high-performing teams, and delegating effectively while providing adequate support.
  • A pragmatic and solutions-focused approach to stay abreast of technical advancements and provide insightful impact assessments and advice.
  • Outstanding project management competencies, including the capacity to lead on-site fieldwork.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, commerce, accounting, finance, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related field.
  • Professional accreditations and qualifications (e.g., CPA, CISA, CA, CIA, CISM, CISSP, CBCP, CIPP) are advantageous but not essential.
