In this role, you will…

  • Hard collaboration with the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close.
  • Responsible for internal controls and corporate reporting.
  • Comply with internal and external audit procedures and policies.
  • Ensure the application of accounting policies, registration, approvals, and necessary escalations.
  • Generate reports for the Government, external, and internal audits.
  • Post daily and month-end JE transactions to the general ledger and P&L.
  • Assist with audits to fixed assets.
  • Invoice auditing and generation of provisions if needed.
  • Responsible of CAPEX tracking.
  • Monitoring and control of timely supplier invoice payments, including services (Electricity, Water, Gas).
  • Help in the submission of monthly financial statements and account analysis.
  • Conduct bank and GL accounts reconciliations.
  • Assist in other accounting tasks.
  • Control and analysis of income statements and balance sheets accounts in a preventive manner before the monthly closing.

Typically:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
    • +4 years related experience in accounting (payroll is a plus).
    • Experience in general ledger, governmental reporting, and manufacturing environments.
    • Experience in IFRS and USGAAP reporting.
    • Bilingual English Spanish
    • Proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
    • Proficiency in SAP system

    • Good communication and organizational skills.
    • Analytical ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
    • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
    • Experience in payroll, controls, and reporting is a plus.
