In this role, you will…
- Hard collaboration with the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close.
- Responsible for internal controls and corporate reporting.
- Comply with internal and external audit procedures and policies.
- Ensure the application of accounting policies, registration, approvals, and necessary escalations.
- Generate reports for the Government, external, and internal audits.
- Post daily and month-end JE transactions to the general ledger and P&L.
- Assist with audits to fixed assets.
- Invoice auditing and generation of provisions if needed.
- Responsible of CAPEX tracking.
- Monitoring and control of timely supplier invoice payments, including services (Electricity, Water, Gas).
- Help in the submission of monthly financial statements and account analysis.
- Conduct bank and GL accounts reconciliations.
- Assist in other accounting tasks.
- Control and analysis of income statements and balance sheets accounts in a preventive manner before the monthly closing.
Typically:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- +4 years related experience in accounting (payroll is a plus).
- Experience in general ledger, governmental reporting, and manufacturing environments.
- Experience in IFRS and USGAAP reporting.
- Bilingual English Spanish
- Proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in SAP system
