In this role, you will join a team that empowers hundreds of teams across Amazon with near real-time data to support big data analytics, insights, and machine learning at scale. You will work cross-functionally to design, develop, and implement advanced data tools, dashboards, and ETL pipelines to support advertising strategies and optimize revenue streams. You will analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends and design A/B experiments to enhance both Publisher and advertiser experiences.
Key job responsibilities- Build and automate data pipelines for ETL processes and support scheduling using industry-standard tools.
- Create dashboards and reporting tools using Tableau, AWS QuickSight, or similar platforms to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.- Communicate methodologies, insights, and recommendations effectively to senior leadership, adapting technical depth based on the audience.
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- * Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
- * 2+ years of experience in data visualization with tools such as AWS QuickSight, Tableau, R Shiny, etc.
- * Leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding other data professionals.
