Senior Associate, Risk Management

Other Responsibilities include:

• Monitor and support Risk Management findings for Risk Tech, including coordination and tracking of remediation commitments as well as delivery of closure artifacts

• Create and maintain Risk Management objects (e.g., Risks, Controls, Issues, etc) in the GRC System of Record (Fuse) as appropriate, including updates resulting from data quality reporting or feedback through controls testing

• Coordinate deliverables and provide process support for audits and exams impacting Risk Tech

• Build understanding of the Risk Tech organization and risk practices unique to technology, while developing and maintaining strong relationships with our Risk Tech partners and key stakeholders

• Participate in team meetings and other risk forums by sharing knowledge, best practices, and other continuous improvements

• Build and maintain strong understanding of our Risk Management Framework and related Policy, Standards, and Procedures

• Provide support to Sr. Leads/ Leads during routine Risk Assessments (RCSAs, PLAs, Launch assessments)

• Ensure timely advice, challenge, and escalation to identify risks, trends, and process improvements to deliver an exceptional customer experience

• Participates in and executes other special projects for RMR, as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

• At least 1 year of experience in risk management, project management, process management, or program management

• At least 1 year of experience supporting an organization that performs software development in a cloud environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• At least 2 years of experience in risk management, project management, process management, or program management

• Strong problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently on day to day activities

• At least 1 year of experience working in a Risk Technology organization

• At least 1 year of experience with Control Management

• At least 1 year experience with technical audits

• Experience with a GRC such as Fuse

McLean, VA: $94,600 - $107,900 for Sr. Risk Associate Richmond, VA: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Risk AssociateThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
