Senior Analyst - Backend Engineer - Service Delivery Center - Financial Services Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1533115), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, San Antonio, TX.

Deliver engineering solutions through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing; based on a proven agile methodology. Demonstrate hands-on technical capabilities in multiple programming languages. Work with client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds fostering an innovative and inclusive work environment. Assess the current technology environment and industry trends and provide recommendations for engagement and client service issues.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40-45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.Must have 5 years of experience in technology software development.Must have 3 years of experience in Java 1.7 or above.Must have 3 years of experience with a Java Framework (Spring, Apache Spark, Hibernate, and/or ORM).Must have 3 years of experience designing, building and consuming RESTful APIs.Must have 3 years of hands-on experience building applications or platforms with cloud native/Microservices architecture, including IaaS, PaaS, container deployment.Must have 3 years of experience with modern collaborative development tools (Git and/or CI/CD pipelines).Must have 3 years of experience in delivering digital projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology.Must have 3 years of experience designing and architecting large business critical systems.Must have 3 years of experience with one or a combination of the following technologies:
- Akka/Scala
- Kafka/RabbitMQ
- ElasticSearch
- Hadoop/Spark/Flume
- Mongo/Cassandra/Any NoSQL DB
- RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, and/or similar).Requires domestic travel up to 25%, to serve client needs.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
