You will establish trusted partnerships with senior leaders, and collaborate closely with a diverse set of internal and external partners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support a portfolio of strategy and data science projects, leading to actionable outcomes for senior leaders to take forward
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and approach to solve business problems using data
- Influence strategic agenda by being an objective thought partner and advisor to senior leaders
- Help business leaders identify and articulate the most impactful growth opportunities
- Ideate, Design and Prototype solutions leveraging advanced analytical / AI / ML approaches to help achieve strategic growth objectives
- Aid in crafting clear and compelling narratives, leveraging creative data visualization to enable opportunity prioritization, idea convergence, insight operationalization and stakeholder buy-in
Sample projects include:
- Assess growth opportunities – geographic, industry or product
- Inform product or solutions strategic roadmap by identifying unmet or emerging client needs
- Refine client segmentation and / or client coverage models
- Understand emerging trends or new entrants to evaluate impact and potential action
- Build data science and analytics prototypes which can feed into production roadmaps
- Develop AI capabilities to innovatively address strategic questions
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 5+ years’ experience in internal consulting, corporate strategy or data science at a top-tier management consulting firm
- Proven ability to execute projects end-to-end, from ideation to recommendation
- Experience with data science (incl. AI/ML) approaches to growing business revenue leading to higher penetration of total addressable market (TAM)
- Demonstrated experience managing and collaborating with cross-functional partners, with strong executive communication skills
- Knowledgeable on disruptive business models and trends including digital marketplaces, AI/ML, API connectivity, etc.
- Familiarity with data extraction, manipulation and visualization tools / approaches
- MBA / MTech / PhD from top tier school
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience working in or with the Financial Services industry, preferably in the Commercial / Wholesale Banking space
- Exposure to revenue growth acceleration in the B2B banking space
- Additional qualification in data science / business analytics
- Working experience on advanced analytics, predictive modelling, AI and Machine Learning
