Description
- Drive NPI build planning activities, which can include managing build matrices for lower-level components/assemblies, building strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, developing risk mitigation plans, and executing issue resolution.- Manage material forecasting and planning with vendors and CMs. Drive Clear to Build (CTB) process and communicate changes to ensure clear visibility on materials lead-time, logistic readiness, and shipping plan that can meet the development builds.- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of supply chain management experience related to build planning, material clear to build, supplier management, logistics, budget, and procurement
- Proficient in MS Excel and iWork tools
- Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal); able to work in a large cross-functional team environment
- Strategic critical thinking and problem-solving skill capabilities
- Attention to detail with multitasking and prioritization abilities
- Off-hour support required via email, phone or WebEx as needed
- Able and willing to travel internationally
- Education: BS/BA degree, or 4+ years of industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of configuration management and BOM structuring (preferably for hardware products)
- Experience with PLM tools
- Able to quickly learn new software applications to promote efficiency and productivity (i.e. Tableau)
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,000 and $201,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
