Job Description
Identify available data sources.
Adapt health economic models in our key therapeutic areas (prevention, oncology, others).
Lead or support local data generation projects in collaboration with third parties.
Lead or support stakeholder specific generation of narratives around value.
Manage data requests from cross-functional teams.
The primary activities include but are not limited to:
Perform
Adapt cost-effectiveness and budget impact models specific to company's therapeutic areas to assess the value of healthcare interventions in terms of their costs and outcomes.
Identify available data sources (literature, international and national real-life data, local registries) that support the clinical benefits of the company’s innovations.
Define data gaps to support the economic value of our innovations.
Generate evidence to support the value proposition of interventions and treatments, demonstrating their clinical and economic benefits compared to alternative options.
Act as a specialist on Health Technology Assessments.
Use economic analysis to inform Market Access and Policy teams and to develop stakeholder specific communication.
Conduct desktop research and data analysis to collect and interpret health economics data specific to company's areas of interest.
Transform
Contribute to a more value than cost-based discussion in health care through active external communication.
Collaborate
Build and maintain relationships with 3rd parties involved in value demonstration and health economic modelling.
Serve as an advisor to franchise cross-functional teams on real world evidence and health economy.
Educational Qualifications
A master's or doctoral degree in health economics, public health, epidemiology, pharmacy or a related field
Languages: Fluent in English (oral and written) / Efficiency in other European languages is a plus (German preferable)
Required Experience and Skills
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in health system related organization, preferable in pharma.
Proven experience in areas of health economics, outcomes research, or a similar role. Familiarity with health technology assessment, healthcare financing or market access.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to perform complex economic analyses and interpret health data. Proficiency in statistical software and data visualization tools is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively convey complex economic concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong research skills to stay up-to-date with emerging trends, literature, and best practices in health economics and health policy. Adaptability to evolving healthcare landscapes in these areas.
Team-worker within the market access and external affairs team, and also able to work cross-functionally on a local and international level.
