The Strategic Development Leader owns the strategy, direction and performance of the PET/CT product portfolio for big deals, national accounts and academics.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Hit Orders & Revenue targets annually for targeted National Accounts and large fleet deals
  • Deliver product expertise to Region Modality Leaders and Imaging Account Managers and National Account Executives and focus on how to identify key customer challenges early in a deal cycle to manufacture big deals
  • Deal coaching for targeted modality opportunities
  • Identify strategic break-in opportunities nationally to drive strategy and deal execution
  • Identify and own defined “big deals”, supporting the local account team, but taking a visible leadership role in the deal and with Key strategic physicians and stakeholders
  • Identify and build out a programmatic approach to both big deals and academics based on an understanding of patterns, effective positioning and an understanding of modality-specific value adds. Apply pattern recognition, positioning, deal understanding and strategy.
  • Innovate and create strong deal structure and overall winning mentality with the local field team
  • Build key relationships with National and GPO accounts and drive engagements with internal team to increase market share.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years selling experience
  • Previous experience in the Healthcare industry
  • Significant PET/CT, Oncology or Imaging equipment knowledge and proven experience and success selling these products
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

  • Technical Imaging, Oncology, Cardiology or PET/CT product knowledge
