DESCRIPTION

Key job responsibilities
• The repair tech is responsible for drone maintenance and routine service at the commercial operation location, ensuring the aircraft conforms to design, and is in safe operating conditions
• Drives time-based and condition-based maintenance activities
• Develop and own fleet performance metrics
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory
• Hire, train, and mentor other repair techs
• Assign shift roster and oversee repair techs performance
• This candidate is expected to work closely with engineering, flight operations, and other Prime Air teams to deliver on their assigned responsibilities.Export Control License

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Mechanical and electrical integration or assembly experience
• Experience in installation of sub-assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files
• Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs., stand / walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Familiar with common business applications and tools (e.g. MS Office, SQL).
• Excellent business communication skills.
• Experience leading teams.
• May require up to a total of six months of travel annually.
• Position will be contingent upon successful completion of a DOT drug and alcohol screening.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
• Experience using Microsoft Office and Linux
• Familiar with Python or other scripting languages
• Experience creating CAD files based on loose specifications
• Experience in the aviation industry.
