RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct a comprehensive SoC/Chipset product strategy from product conception, definition and execution through end of life for various IoT verticals including Retail, Industrial Hand-Held, Automation, Industrial Compute, Tracking, Metering and others.

  • Define and maintain SoC/Chipset product requirements (PRD’s) supporting Qualcomm’s Industrial IoT portfolio strategy.

  • Identify and drive the use of new technologies, industry-leading trends and disruptive strategies.

  • Manage on-going execution of SoC/Chipset products, including alignment with engineering and other cross-functional teams.

  • Lead the promotion and design-in of SoC/Chipset products at global OEMs and ecosystem partners.

  • Provide product leadership to the global Sales and Product Marketing organizations on new business opportunities and existing customer programs.

  • Assemble and maintain up to date information and intelligence on competitive offerings.

  • Own SoC/Chipset products from beginning to end of life including software upgrades and new feature releases.

  • Lead business case development in coordination with internal partner organizations for new products and feature releases.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.

• 8+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years semiconductor product management experience. Demonstrated success in delivering complex SoC/Chipset semiconductor products.

  • In-depth knowledge of SoC application processor and cellular modem technologies.

  • Experience defining SoC/Chipset products for IoT markets and a deep understanding of the underlying applications.

  • Using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels. Negotiates with external partners and internal groups for necessary support.

Pay range:

$189,000.00 - $284,000.00
