As a Quality Analyst I within the Asset & Wealth Management, you will execute Controls QA testing against established criteria, which requires exceptional subject matter expertise with the ability to draw inferences, identify root causes and make recommendations for corrective action. QA activities primarily focus on three areas: Control Design & Expertise, Risks & Controls Identification/Assessment, Control Breaks & Resolution

Job responsibilities

  • Interpret firm policies and compliance requirements for incorporation into company systems/procedures
  • Master understanding of transaction life cycle and applicable policies and procedures for targeted business functions
  • Coordinate with individuals/teams as required to meet schedules or resolve problems at peer level
  • Perform quality assurance reviews in accordance with firm policies and standard operating procedures within the Asset Management
  • Communicate control failures and primary impacts to the end-to-end transaction life cycle
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and development of the overall quality program

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related business field
  • Two to four years of relevant work experience in Asset Management
  • Controls, Audit, QA, Risk Management and/or compliance background
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements while ensuring quality adherence
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication
  • Ability to troubleshoot, document and resolve problems
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity and curiosity
  • Results driven in a global, multi-cultural team environment
  • Demonstrated business and product knowledge (Asset Management)
