Education and qualifications
Open to both undergraduate and graduate students who meets the following requirements and core competencies and skills listed below.
- Will be graduating in Feb. 2026, Aug. 2026, or Feb. 2027 (Is a Must)
- Demonstrated leadership in curricular and/or extra-curricular activities
- Strong communication skills including an aptitude and passion for public speaking
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Creative and resourceful self-starters with strong interpersonal skills who are eager learners
- Possess a strong desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced sales organization
- Relationship oriented possessing an aptitude for quickly creating and nurturing connections with others

Role Overview:
- Engage with customers by promoting SAP's innovative products and solutions, along with select partner solutions. Build and foster relationships with both existing and prospective clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities and create demand by aligning SAP’s integrated solutions with customer needs. Drive adoption and value realization, ensuring sustained customer business and expanding SAP's footprint.
- Solution Advisor:Lead impactful sales presentations and product demonstrations both before and after sales. Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations to secure new business and drive revenue growth. Leverage industry knowledge to help clients realize their return on investment and enhance sales force understanding.
- Value Advisor:Focus on strategic value engagements throughout the customer's journey with SAP. Develop and manage customer-specific business cases to measure and achieve value realization, linking business strategy to outcomes enabled by SAP solutions. Facilitate customer adoption by providing value assurance services, adapting business cases to evolving customer priorities.

As a VT/STAR student, you will be responsible to:
- Successfully complete an 18-month program that strengthens a foundation for a successful customer-facing career at SAP.
- Participate in experiential learning opportunities and acquire a wide variety of business, industry and SAP solution skills while working with emerging and cutting-edge technologies.
- Receive on-the-job training under the mentorship of a senior Sales or Solution Advisor colleague while working with our customers to gain real world experience and acquire the skills necessary to help guide our customers through their Digital Transformation journey.
The program will enrich your knowledge of SAP as well as give you the professional experience to be ready to serve our customers. Your official start date at SAP isJuly 7th, 2025and the total program period is 1 year 6 months. During your semester break, you will work full-time(40 hours per week) at SAP. During the semester, you will work on part-time (20 hours per week) or full-time at the company. You will be able to schedule your working time flexibly in accordance with your university schedule and the requirements of your department. You can apply for permanent positions after the completion of your studies and after half-completing this program (9 months), either in one of our business teams or in one of our graduate or Academy programs. If you get accepted, you can be converted into permanent employee by completing this program earlier than 18 months.
The program provides maximum support for internships through the university-operated field practicum program(), allowing you to earn university credit.
