Assess and select suppliers based on quality, cost, capacity, and reliability to ensure they meet our standards.
Collaborate with suppliers to identify areas for improvement and provide guidance and support for process enhancements.
Develop and implement quality control plans, process audits, and quality assurance initiatives to maintain product quality and consistency.
Investigate and address supplier-related issues, such as non-conformances, quality discrepancies, and delivery delays, in a timely and effective manner.
Work with suppliers to drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on quality, cost, and efficiency enhancements.
Identify potential risks within the supply chain and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Foster open and transparent communication with suppliers to ensure mutual understanding of expectations and objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing, to align supplier performance with company goals.
Ensure that suppliers adhere to industry and regulatory standards and certifications.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Material Engineering
At least 5 years of experience in Supplier Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
Proficiency in handling a variety of documentation and bureaucratic processes
Experience from regulated organizations, preferably- Medical Devices
Team player
High level of proficiency in both spoken and written English
