Key job responsibilities
• Be viewed as a subject matter expert in your domain, leveraging data, metrics, and qualitative insights to drive strategic decision-making.
• Lead a team responsible for identifying, developing, and closing significant business opportunities.
• Leverage your strong internal network and influence to unlock new partnership and growth opportunities for the broader company.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy, often in areas where the business strategy has yet to be defined. You will be trusted to drive progress on ambiguous, complex problems.
• Effectively partner with senior leadership up to the SVP level, representing key decisions, trade-offs, and recommended solutions in a clear and compelling manner, both verbally and in writing.
• Act as the owner of long-term strategic planning documents. You will influence organizational priorities, system roadmaps, and technology direction.
• Continuously identify and propose high-impact business opportunities, making a strong case for investment or divestment over a 3-5 year horizon.
• Serve as a single-threaded owner for multiple Director-level and above goals, tracking progress and owning reporting on the status of your programs.
• Provide hands-on mentorship and development for your team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent
- Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent
- 5+ years in transportation industry experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of 3PL or brokerage experience
