Position Title:Packaging Engineering InternReports to:Packaging EngineerThe Packaging Engineering Intern will support the development of packaging standards,documentation, and processes for automotive components. This role is key in assisting thePackaging Engineer to establish structured workflows and tools that will guide packagingactivities across the organization, while also contributing to waste reduction and cost
Key Responsibilities:
indraftingthepackagingdevelopmentprocedurefromconcepttoimplementation.
Collaborate in defining roles and responsibilities of packaging stakeholders.
Help design and document packaging validation methods and criteria.
Support the creation of packaging test protocols (e.g., drop test, compression,vibration).
Create templates and formats for packaging specifications and validation reports.
Participate in waste reduction and packaging cost optimization projects.
Benchmark industry best practices and support internal alignment.
Participate in cross-functional meetings with engineering, logistics, and quality
Requirements:
Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, or a relatedfield.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proactive attitude, self-motivatedand willingness to learn.
Basic understanding of materials and logistics is a plus.
Intermediate to advanced English level (ability to read technical documentation,write emails, and join basic meetings).
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
